The Grosse Pointe Jewish Council
Welcome to the GPJC.

The Grosse Pointe Jewish Council is an organization that provides cultural, religious, social and educational activities, serving the Jewish community of the Grosse Pointes and other metropolitan Detroit east side communities.
Religious activities include rabbi-led Shabbat and High Holiday services, family Shabbat services and an annual Passover seder. We also offer a Sunday school and bar and bat mitzvah preparation. Our educational and cultural offerings include lectures, tours, demonstrations and other programs.
Our organization is supported by annual membership dues, tax-exempt donations and modest fees for certain events.

SUNDAY SCHOOL!
We LOVE our Sunday School and the kids do too!
Starting in the Fall our Sunday School meets twice a month for an hour an a half. Classes are combined by age group for the most rewarding experience with our renowned Sunday School Teacher.
Students will sing songs, hear Torah stories, learn about each holiday, find out about Jewish history, and even learn some Hebrew all while having a blast doing it.
Bar/Bat Mitzvah prep available. We love to help you and your child feel comfortable on their special day and we love to celebrate with you!
Affordable tuition along with very minimal membership dues gains you access to an enriching Jewish education that has served the East Side Jewish community since 1990.
We are so proud of our alumni who have gone on do do great things.
